The First-Year Experience (FYE) program is designed to assists new students in their personal, academic, and social transition to UNT. This is accomplished through personal contact and programs provided by the FYE Leaders. FYE provides connections to resources and people throughout campus, helping new students find success in the North Texas community.
All new students attending UNT are encouraged to utilize the many programs and resources available through the FYE program.
FYE Leaders
These students work in the Office of New Student Programs and and the eight primarily freshman residence halls on campus. The leaders connect with new UNT freshmen through e-mail, phone, Facebook, and meetings in the residence halls. They also plan programs specifically for freshmen, like Registration Revisit, a program held each fall and spring to help freshmen register for classes during their registration period.
